Michael currently is the Vice President/Station Manager for WUSA9 in Washington D.C. He oversees day to day operations of the station.  Prior to joining in 2017, he served as VP of News for both TEGNA and Belo media companies.  Previously, he served as Vice President/News at WFAA-TV, Dallas where he received many accolades including the first ever Gold DuPont Award given to WFAA for its investigative journalism. 

Michael has a master’s degree from Columbia Graduate School of Journalism.
