A 24-year CBS Stations veteran, Brian Watson has been responsible for overseeing the operation of WWJ-TV (CBS 69) and WBKD-TV (CW50) since August 2016. Previously, he spent four years as the Detroit stations’ vice president and director of sales. Prior to moving to Detroit in 2012, Watson spent 14 years at WUPA, the CBS-owned affiliate of The CW in Atlanta, where he began as an account executive and was promoted to local sales manager in 2000 and national sales manager in 2001. He earned his bachelor’s degree in communications and advertising from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
