I received a Bachelor's Degree in Communications in 1977. I have worked in broadcasting since 1973 in both radio and television. I have planned and constructed two start-up full power television stations. I have extensive experience in planning, design, and the construction of all facets of a television station. I am currently a media consultant responsible for advising with the planning and development of technology projects for content acquisition, creation and distribution. I am active in future broadcast planning on the national level and serve on a number of committees developing standards for emerging technologies such as NextGen TV. I am a member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Society of Broadcast Engineers and the Society of Cable Television Engineers
