Jeffrey has spent a total of 19 years working for NBC Universal, beginning at their owned stations WTVJ-TV in Miami, FL and their flagship station in New York City, WNBC-TV, both as Manager of News Operations. He is currently, the Director of Network News Field Operations for the NBC News Group’s Telemundo Network News Division, overseeing their photographers, remote transmission, and all news field productions.
He began his journalism career working on the National Assignment Desk for ABC News-NY as a desk assistant, and has worked at local television stations: WSVN-TV in Miami, and WDIV-TV in Detroit, both in the capacity of news operations. Following his stint at ABC News, he worked and lived for 4 years aboard cruise ships, handling transmission and video operations for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.
He has received 3-national emmy awards for his coverage of the Pope and the Vatican and the War in Ukraine. He has traveled the world for both NBC and Telemundo, most recently covering the Israel-Gaza conflict in the Middle East.
He’s a nature aquarium hobbyist, and lover of drones (wanting to be an airline pilot at one point in his life).
