Joshua Knapp is the Engineering Supervisor for Capitol Broadcasting Company’s WRAL, WRAZ and WILM television stations in North Carolina.  He graduated in 2004 from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

He worked for News-Press and Gazette at KMIZ in Columbia, Missouri and the CBS owned and operated stations KOVR and KMAX in Sacramento, California before arriving at Capitol Broadcasting Company in 2014.

During his time at Capitol Broadcasting, some of Joshua’s career highlights include launching the WRAL AR/VR News Set, facilitating the first 4K-produced documentary by a local station, assisting in the development of AI tools for searching news archives and leading the technical implementation of 24-hour streaming local news and sports channels utilizing DAI across multiple platforms and delivery methods.
