Lisa Pedrogo is a Vice President of Engineering and Strategic Initiatives for Warner Bros. Discovery Global Broadcast Technology Services, managing the engineering team that predominantly supports News and Sports production at New York’s Hudson Yards.  Her scope includes maintenance of all technical production equipment and facilities for CNN, plus desktop support for various News, Sports and Entertainment brands.  
Lisa’s CNN career started in 1989 as a production assistant with Business News.  She held every editorial newsroom position—from assignment editor to producer—until transitioning into broadcast operations management with the CNNfn network launch, where she managed CNN’s first digital, non-linear production digital edit platform.  

Lisa has held many roles as a member of CNN's Broadcast Engineering & System Technology department from project/program management to training, communications and strategic initiatives.  Her accomplishments include managing the technology training team for CNN, as well as project and program management of large builds:  

  • Time Warner Center
  • CNN HD Network Launch
  • London Bureau
  • LA Bureau 
  • Most recently, the CNN Infrastructure at Hudson Yards, which includes 110,000 square feet of technical space.  

She is a certified Project Management Professional, Facilitator and Educator, with published articles in TV NewsCheck, TV Technology Magazine and the Masie Consortium Website.
